Bourbon must contain at least 51% corn by law. While many distilleries stick closely to lower rye ratios, our classic recipe balances 75% yellow corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley.

Malted Barley provides naturally occurring enzymes (alpha and beta amylase) necessary to convert complex grain starches into fermentable sugars.

Federal law allows bourbon to enter the barrel at up to 125 proof (62.5% ABV). However, Wild Turkey enters the barrel at a lower proof between 110 and 115.
